Work Study Program
Being a part of work-study involves working a total of six hours a week in exchange for unlimited classes at Visceral. Great customer service skills are a must, as well as a passion for dance and personal growth as an artist. General duties include being trained on Mind Body, a program used to check in students and accept payment, as well as answering phones, maintaining and cleaning the facility and other miscellaneous projects. Cleaning duties may require late hours of work.
This position requires proficiency in English, previous cash handling experience, the ability to multi-task and remain organized in a fast paced environment, a friendly demeanor and close attention to detail. Visceral is known for its positive atmosphere and range of classes and styles that we hope to continue with a supportive and knowledgeable work-study team.
Scholarship Program
The VDC scholarship program is designed for advanced dancers working towards a professional career. Dancers are required to take 10 classes a week in ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary. Limited weekly dues, complete this financially assisted program. Must be 17 years or older to apply.
