ARTIST BIO

 

Ally Sanov originally from Owasso, Oklahoma is the Co-Founder and Co-Artistic director of Chicago’s first faith based contemporary dance company, Forward the Movement. Ally graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance.

 

Ally has choreographed and produced three performances in Chicago and performed across the Midwest with Forward the Movement. In addition to her work with Forward, Ally teaches and choreographs at several studios across the Chicago area and has had the opportunity to tour in Trinidad and Tobago as well as present original choreography at ACDA. Ally was an apprentice with Flatlands Dance Theatre, based in Lubbock, Texas,  a company member and choreographer with Alluvion Dance Chicago  and performed with Visceral Dance Chicago in “Within”.
