ANNIE

From the age of three, Annie Atwood has been completely immersed in all styles of dance from hip hop, jazz, and modern, to contemporary, ballet, and pointe. She first started dancing at Yvonne’s Dance Academy, where she regularly attended the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters convention. It was here that she first took Nick Pupillo’s class and soon moved to Visceral Dance Center, first training on the Youth Ensemble and attending various award-winning conventions and competitions in the Chicagoland area.

 

This summer, she attended the advanced program at Alonzo King Lines Ballet in San Francisco and is honored and excited to be starting her second year on Studio Company. She is extremely grateful for the opportunity provided to her by Visceral Dance Center and Nick Pupillo to continue to explore her artistry and technique
