Ashley grew up in a competition dance studio environment at two highly successful suburban Chicago dance studios. Alongside her studio company competitions, Ashley started to choreograph and compete independently her own pieces at the age of 11. She has won numerous national and regional awards and special recognition and scholarships for her studio company performances, improvisation, and self-choreographed works. Ashley was honored to be one of the youngest members of the pre-professional level of Inaside Chicago Dance’s Youth Training Program for the 2018-2019 season, an opportunity that had its beginnings with one of her self-choreographed pieces. Ashley has had the opportunity to train with top faculty at summer intensives at the Gus Giordano Dance School, the Ruth Page School of Dance, Visceral Dance Chicago, and Inaside Chicago Dance. Ashley has trained in nearly every dance genre and has been training en pointe since age 12. As she has matured as a dancer, she has grown a particular passion for ballet and contemporary and she is truly inspired by Nick Pupillo’s unique brand of choreography. Ashley is excited to be taking her young dance career to the next level and is deeply honored to be joining Visceral Studio Company this year.
