Javares  started his career at the John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School with Sharon Mayfield, a New York Dance and Performance Award “Bessie” recipient at the Garth Fagan Dance Company. There he was molded into the inquisitive shape-shifter that explores the ins and outs of the body as canvas. Javares is a 2021 Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) cum laude alumnus of The University of the Arts and Presidential Scholar full scholarship recipient to help pursue his four years at Uarts.

 

Javares has had the opportunity to dance professionally with Dallas Black Dance Theatre: Encore! for two seasons where he performed works by various choreographers such as Jessica Hendricks, Christopher L. Huggins, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, and Takehiro Ueyama. He has been in many other works by acclaimed choreographers performing as a soloist for Tommie-Waheed Evans, Katie Swords Thurman, Bobbi Jene Smith, Annie Rigney and Sidra Bell.
