The Emerging Artist Program is for dancers18-24 at the beginning of their professional careers.
From September 2021 through May 2022, these artists will grow in a nurturing and immersive learning environment, designed to bridge the space between their training and the profession of dance.
The Emerging Artist Program includes collaboration, process, mentorship and performance of new creations by leading local, national and international choreographers. Learn from the Visceral’s diverse and respected repertoire with works by distinguished choreographers such as Danielle Agami, Sidra Bell, Banning Bouldin, Mónica Cervantes, Marguerite Donlon, Brian Enos, Mark Godden, Robyn Mineko Williams, Harrison McEldowney, Fernando Melo, Ohad Naharin, Kevin ODay, and Founder/Artistic Director, Nick Pupillo. Train with notable faculty, including former and current Visceral company members along with opportunities to train alongside the company. Participants will further their professional development and be considered for future positions within Visceral Dance Chicago.
Weekly schedule will run Monday-Thursday 11:30am-6pm and Fridays 10am-4:30pm.
This is a tuition based program with payments due monthly (September through May). Financial aid consideration upon request.
