Kelsie began dancing at the age of 6 at a small studio called Creative Dance Center. After one year she quickly fell in love with the art. She hasn’t stopped dancing since. After 3 years of training at Creative Dance Center, she began working with American Dance Center. With American Dance Center she has performed at Navy Pier and The Chicago Cultural Center. As well as be apart of the Macy’s thanksgiving day parade. Kelsie has also performed in Disney World. She traveled to San Diego to Dancerpalooza to participate in the Travis Wall Experience. Kelsie has been to a number of dance conventions, such as, Nuvo, NRG, Radix, Dupree Dance, and Tremaine. During her middle school years, she also started to take classes with Street of Dreams Dance. She has won three scholarships at the Dupree Dance convention. Along with everything else, Kelsie has performed at Six Flags Great America four times. She was in eighth grade when she started to take open classes at Visceral Dance Center. After jumping around from studio to studio trying to find a dance studio that will help her grow and evolve as a dancer, she found Visceral Dance Center. Kelsie was instantly drawn to Nick Pupillo’s contemporary style. She would like to give a big thanks to her parents for supporting her every step of the way. She is beyond thankful that Nick Pupillo has given her this amazing opportunity to express her love for dance and to work with such an amazing group of people.
