Kelsie began dancing at the age of 6 at Creative Dance Center, a small studio in Orland Park. During that year, she quickly fell in love with the art and has not stopped dancing since. After three years of training at CDC, Kelsie began working with American Dance Center. With ADC, she has performed at Navy Pier, The Chicago Cultural Center, Six Flags Great America, as well as participating in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Downtown Chicago, and performances at Disney World in Florida.
In 2018 Kelsie traveled to DancerPalooza in San Diego and participated in the Travis Wall Experience. Other dance conventions attended include Nuvo, NRG, Radix, Dupree Dance, and Tremaine. She won three scholarships at the Dupree Dance Convention. During her middle-school years, Kelsie took additional classes with Street of Dreams Dance in Mokena. It was in eighth grade that Kelsie found Visceral Dance Center and started to take open classes there. Kelsie was instantly drawn to Nick Pupillo’s contemporary style. She would like to give a big thanks to her parents for supporting her every step of the way, and is beyond thankful that Nick Pupillo has given her this amazing opportunity to express her love for dance and to work with such an amazing group of people!
