Tess began as a gymnast at the age of 6.  A year later she was invited to the USAG competitive team where she competed at a high level until the age of 11 when she realized gymnastics was not her passion. Tess transitioned to the dance program at her gymnastics studio where she was invited to the competitive dance

team.  She enjoyed dancing in all styles including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, tap and musical theater. 

 

In her second year of competitive dance, Tess participated in the summer intensive at Visceral Dance Center.  Nick Pupillo’s contemporary choreography instantly spoke to Tess and she was truly honored and grateful for the invitation to join Visceral Studio Company (VSC). Tess’s first year with VSC challenged her and further sparked her passion for dance. She is excited to continue training under Nick Pupillo in her second year with Visceral Studio Company.
