TYLER KERBEL

 

(Janesville, WI), began his dance training at various studios throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. He then attended Point Park University on scholarship where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and an emphasis in modern technique. During his time at Point Park, he had the pleasure of performing works by many choreographers including Azsure Barton, Jae Man Joo, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Christopher Wheeldon and Martha Graham. He also supplemented is training by attending Alonzo King LINES Summer Program, NW Dance Project's LAUNCH, and Springboard Danse Montréal where he performed works by Ohad Naharin, Joseph Hernandez, and Mark Caserta. He began his professional career when he joined Eisenhower Dance Detroit under the direction of Stephanie Pizzo. There he performed works by Micaela Taylor, Christian Denice, and Laurie Eisenhower. 

Tyler is thrilled to be joining Visceral for his first season!
