VERA

​

 Vera began her dance journey at the age of two, discovering her passion for combining movement and storytelling at Chicago’s A Fairytale Ballet. She embraced dance through the structure and discipline of formal ballet training, studying at several dance studios in the Chicago area, including Joffrey Ballet Chicago. Vera also participated in various dance intensives at Joffrey and the Gus Giordano School of Dance, and explored expressive movement through jazz and release modern techniques.

In 2021, Vera found her love for contemporary dance when she joined the Visceral Youth Ensemble, where she grew tremendously under the guidance of Director Kaytee Cox and Kelly Crain. Vera is now joining the Visceral Studio Company for her first year.  She is honored and excited to train under Visceral Dance Company’s Founder and Artistic Director, Nick Pupillo.
