ANORA

Anora Novak has been dancing since she was the age of 1 1/2 at Chicago Ballet Arts, with her teacher Miss Melanie. As she got to the age of 4, she moved to Old Town School of Folk Music where she took ballet and tap with her instructor Ms Nancy. Anora quickly discovered her passion for contemporary when she switched to Visceral. She started with classes and then immediately wanted to compete on the Visceral Youth Ensemble team. She then began training with Kaytee Cox, Amy Probasco, Sarah Glover, Kelly Crain, and her mother Jessie Novak around the age of 6.
Anora has won scholarships for dance conventions, and many awards from competing, however that is not why she dances. She dances to inspire herself in a way she didn’t think was possible. As she joins for her first year on VSC, she hopes to continue to inspire herself and many others everyday.
