If you’re human, you’re a dancer. Somewhere along the way in our culture, very specific and inflexible qualifications were imposed on this basic truth. We tend to turn away if the age and body type of the dancers aren’t what we expect.
The great role that art can play is showing us what it means to be human in ALL our forms.
We at Visceral believe it’s time to let these bodies speak through movement created especially for them.

Elemental is a powerful evening-length performance that explores the raw forces of nature and the depths of the human experience. Through a series of original works, the production examines the interplay of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Aether—translating these elemental forces into movement, emotion, and story.
Under the artistic direction of Michelle Meltzer and Braeden Barnes, Visceral Encore brings together a dynamic ensemble of dancers, each contributing their distinct voice to this immersive journey. With choreography by Michelle Meltzer, Braeden Barnes, Laura Mendes, and Nick Pupillo, the program blends physicality and vulnerability, forging an intimate connection between performer and audience.
