At the Ann Barzel Theater at Visceral Dance Center, we proudly welcome artists and companies of all genres and backgrounds. Our flexible, fully equipped black-box theater seats up to 125 and is ideal for dance performances, spoken word, theater readings, small music ensembles, stand-up comedy, benefit performances, galas, and more. The space also includes a lounge, kitchen and outdoor patio to accommodate catering for receptions or community gatherings.

We offer flexible and affordable options for performing arts with a smaller audience in a non-tier ground level seating. We welcome concert dance, storytelling, poetry slams, screenings, puppetry, presentations, and other creative events that thrive in an intimate setting. For performances that don’t require extensive lighting or wings, the rental becomes even more accessible. These updates reduce setup time, lower costs, and make it easier than ever to bring your vision to life.
