2022-23 Program Dates


Session I : August 15 - November 18, 2022


Session II : January 9 - May 12, 2023

Commitment : Monday-Friday 9:00am-3:30pm aside from performances



Train with the company in weekly classes

Align with Visceral's repertoire

Exposure to the company’s guest choreographers

Originate new works with guest artists

Execute Visceral's diverse repertoire

Performances in Visceral's state-of-the-art theatre

Personalized attention from artistic leaders and company members 

Bridge the space between pre-professional and your professional career

Participants will be considered for future positions within Visceral Dance Chicago

Scholarships are need based in which talent and commitment contribute to the determination of awards. 


Visceral Trainees are accepted by audition only

Dancers are accepted on a rolling basis

Dancers must be between the ages of 18-24

Minimum of 5 years ballet and contemporary training


we are unable to provide visa asissitace at this time.


1) Ballet (maximum 5 min)

2) Contemporary solo (maximum 2 min)

3) Improv (maximum 2 min)
