TRAINEE PROGRAM

CREATE | COLLABORATE  |  EVOLVE

The Visceral Trainee Program, designed for dancers 18-24,  further develops and extracts artistry in dancers bridging the space between their training and a professional career. Through Visceral’s practices, dancers will have resources to strengthen their physical and mental foundation.

NIck Pupillo, Director  | Cait Cucchiara, Associate Director

The Program

The Visceral Trainee Program includes collaboration, process, mentorship, guest speakers and performance of new creations by leading local, national and international choreographers. Trainees will further their professional development through a rigorous class and rehearsal schedule. Train with notable faculty, including former and current Visceral company members and work directly with the company.

Trainees will have the opportunity to perform Visceral’s repertoire as well as be in process with two new creations by a company member and Founder/Artistic Director, Nick Pupillo set specifically for them.

Participants will further their professional development and be considered for future positions within Visceral Dance Chicago.
