Born in Houston, Texas, Gabriel graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts before attending the Juilliard School where he performed works by Tiler Peck, Ohad Naharin, Rena Butler, and Jawole Willa Jo Zolar.

 

As part of Peridance Contemporary Dance Company's 40th Aniversary season, Gabriel performed in works by Igal Perry, Robert Battle, Ohad Naharin, johannes wieland, and Jessica Lang.
