CHRISTOPHER STANSELL

Jacksonville, FL

Christopher spent four persistent years training with The Florida Ballet Conservatory, while also studying at Douglas Anderson School of The Performing Arts, graduating in 2019. Throughout his dance training he has been fortunate to have studied at the Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Orlando Ballet, and the Florida Ballet summer intensives and workshops. 

Christopher graduated from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Performance. While studying at the Conservatory Christopher was able to cultivate an expressive and  experimental movement language embedded within himself, choreographed and staged his debut work “A Phoenix Trials” premiered at the Boston Conservatory Theatre at Berklee. He also performed the prestigious works  “ D-man in the waters” by Bill T Jones, Nicholas and Murray Louis “four Brubeck Pieces” as well as the choreography of T. Lang , Margot Gilbert & Bradley Shelver. Christopher is auspicious about his future in dance.
