Erika began dancing at the Canton Ballet where she trained under the direction of Cassandra Crowley. She graduated summa cum laude in 2022 from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music where she earned a BFA in Dance. At university Erika was also a part of the Darwin T. Turner Scholars program. She was invited to join New York Dance Project by Nicole Duffy in 2020 where she performed in Gerald Arpino’s “Birthday Variations” and “Viva Vivaldi” and worked with Madison Hicks, Gabrielle Lamb, Emily Green, Ephrat Asherie and Maleek Washington. Erika has also worked with the likes of Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Kia Smith, Noelle Kayser, Marco Palomino, Abdiel Figuero Reyes, Kevin O’Day, Roderick George and Eduardo Zuniga in Chicago. 

 

Erika is eager to continue to develop and discover her artistry with Visceral Dance for another season.
