Visceral Dance Chicago brings the reimagined, evening-length version of the critically acclaimed CARMEN.maquia by Gustavo Ramirez Sansano back to Chicago.

This Picasso-inspired contemporary adaptation of Bizet’s classic fuses contemporary dance with Spanish paso doble and flamenco elements. Known for its originality, elaborate partnering, and electrifying choreography, CARMEN.maquia offers a bold reinterpretation of the tragic tale.
