JUSTIN BISNAUTHSING

Justin Bisnauthsing is a dancer and choreographer from New Jersey. Justin began his dance training at the age of five studying ballet, contemporary, tap, modern, and jazz, as well as voice and acting. In 2019, he graduated from the performing arts program at East Brunswick Magnet School, studying ballet, modern, and choreography under the direction of Cleo Mack. Justin has also trained at a variety of summer programs including Gaga Lab Tel Aviv, Spring Board X, Gaga Lab NYC, and Gaga Lab Orsolina,  working with Ohad Naharin, Bobbi Jene Smith, Shamel Pitts and Sidra Bell. In 2023 Justin graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College SUNY with his BFA in dance and a concentration in composition, under the mentorship of Stephanie Tooman and Doug Varone. At Purchase, he performed works by Ohad Naharin, Martha Graham, George Balanchine, Bill T. Jones, Annie Rigney, and Peter Chu. In the summer of 2023, Justin joined Visceral Dance Chicago as a company member. At Visceral, he has performed works by Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Roderick George, Marco Palomino, Mònica Cervantes Rodriguez, Brian Martinez and Nick Pupillo, including the prominent role of Escamillo in Sansano’s production of Carmen Maquia.
