Originally from Brazil, Laura just graduated from Joffrey Ballet School on a merit scholarship. She worked with choreographers such as Greg Lau, Yoshito Sakuraba, Antonia Franceschi, and Yin Yue. She was a company member and Rehearsal Assistant with Joffrey Ballet Concert Group for two seasons. Laura spent the summers with Nederlands Dance Theater on Full Scholarship; Orsolina28 with Ohad Naharin; Hubbard Street Dance Chicago with Adam McGaw and Ashley Green; A.I.M by Kyle Abraham, and GALLIM. Laura performed works by Paxton Ricketts ,Crystal Pite, Jiri Kyliam, and Hofesh Shelter.

 

In commercial work, Laura was the lead dancer in PANTENE curly campaign, and FarmRio clothing brand. She also had her choreographic debut at ArtBath NYC in collaboration with Bradley Shelver, whom she also assisted for his new work at Graham II.
