Marymellany fell in love with dance at age 4 when she was introduced to a Saturday morning ballet class in a suburban studio.  She then got into different styles such as Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Hip-hop and Acro, but her main passion has been contemporary from a very young age.

She joined multiple competitive groups, dancing and performing in local and national stages.  She continues to discover herself, expanding her passions to being a theatre actress and vocalist. She joined DUCON Ballet Intensive Canada and trained under Runqiao Du, Riccardo Riccardi and Anastasia Vasilieva. She also attended dance classes and personal training both in Japan and Philippines. Her opportunities blossomed when she was invited to join Visceral Youth Ensemble under Kaytee Cox.

Her dream became reality when she got to train under Nick Pupillo, as part of Visceral Studio Company. This is Marymellany’s second year with VSC and she’s extremely grateful to learn and discover more about her artistry.
