Sidney Durand, a Houston native, holds a BFA in Dance from George Mason University under the direction of Karen Reedy and Susan Shields, and is an alumna of Houston’s Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. While at Mason, Sidney performed works by Martha Graham, Rafael Bonachela, Doug Varone, Christopher d’Amboise, and Robert Battle. She was honored with the University’s Excellence in Performance award and has refined her craft at acclaimed summer intensives including Ballet BC’s 44 in Vancouver, BC.
